TARGET SYSTEMS

aircrafts systems qualified and capable of simulating a manned-helicopter, providing a slow moving target that can hover and fly vertically.

Unmanned Aerial Targets

The rapid proliferation of UAVs and other aerial threats require armed forces around the world to practice and hone their targeting skills. Effective training is required on advanced weapon systems, including Ground-Based Air Defence (GBAD), Surface to Air Missiles (SAM), and Air to Air (AA) systems. Practice exercises must simulate different enemy aircraft as realistically as possible.

Within the type of helicopter aircraft to be simulated, there are Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) and ground attack helicopters, capable of hovering, “popping-up” from behind a feature in the terrain and even flying sideways or backwards.

Available Payloads for our Targets

Radar enhancement

Alpha can offer Radar Enhancement or Radar Cross-Section amplification by means of both passive or active payloads.

IR enhancement system

Infra-Red (IR) flares can provide the heat signature of a full-size enemy helicopter.

MDI Scoring

Either for counting small projectiles or serving as a scalar MDI for larger projectiles and missiles, our Aerial Targets are capable of integrating your preferred MDI Scoring system.

Visibility Enhancement

Designed to make drones more detectable during training exercises or testing. These systems improve visibility for tracking by radar, infrared, or visual methods, ensuring that the aerial targets are easily detectable and can serve effectively in training and testing scenarios.

Laser reflecting mirrors

By reflecting laser signals back to the source, they allow for precise targeting and simulation of real combat scenarios, helping improve accuracy and performance in laser-based targeting systems.

VERTICAL TAKE-OFF AND LANDING
& SMOOTH HOVERING

WEATHER-PROOF FOR WIND
AND RAIN CONDITIONS
